Casa Michelau is taking shape – not bookable yet

Build journal · since 2026

From raw stone
to a place together.

No artificial before-and-after show: this is where we distinguish what has been assessed, what is planned and what is still uncertain.

Current status

Concept & assessment

The house is not bookable. Layout, technical condition, future use and renovation ideas are being tested against one another responsibly.

This is what Casa Michelau really looks like today.

The red natural stone defines the exterior. Inside, masonry, openings and old fittings are being uncovered and assessed. These photographs document a condition; they do not replace a professional evaluation.

Assess first, promise later

Why ideas are not promises yet.

The existing building is understood step by step before design and opening dates are fixed.

Layout, building services, robust materials and future hosting routines are considered as one system. Internal documents and professional assessment details remain private; only material suitable for the public story is published.

What that means for this website

No bookings, invented opening date or feature presented as a certainty. We show concept ideas and the real assessment stage.

The vaulted cellar

Why the sauna is imagined here.

The rough walls are character, not a flaw to hide.

The idea is a compact, robust sauna with visible stone. Moisture, ventilation, waterproofing and safe heating come before visual atmosphere.
